The All on 4 implants procedure is a modern permanent solution for teeth in extremely poor condition or even missing, with a vastly high success rate. It consists of a minimally invasive full rehabilitation of your dentures, supported by 4 dental implants (in some cases 6 or up to 8).

These are placed in the jawbone and/or the maxillary to replace the original tooth root, and a full arch of teeth is attached to the top or bottom of the mouth.

Contrary to traditional removable dentures, these are securely attached to recover the esthetic and masticatory function of the mouth and they do not cause pain from rubbing.

Good oral hygiene and routine maintenance are highly important to ensure the success of this treatment.

Although typically this procedure takes from 6 to 8 months, sometimes it can take up to a year, depending on the conditions of the patient. In some cases, bone surgery or extraction of teeth is necessary to prepare the mouth to receive the implants. Patients with no proper bone structure can alternatively have a Snap-On denture.

TIMELINE

1st. VISIT

Implant placement, restoracion, extractions, impresion for temporary dentures.

2nd VISIT

(4 MONTHS LATER) HEALING ABUTMENTS:

A DAY.

Clinical assessment by the specialist on the patient’s healing. Osseointegration, tissues. The implants will be uncovered (minor surgery). Healing abutments will be installed.

3rd Visit

(1 MONTH LATER) REHABILITATION PHASE:

5 OR 6 DAYS.

Manufacturing of the permanent dentures, impressions are taken. Trials on models, detail adjustments are performed.

1How can I know I’m a candidate for this procedure?

Through a recent x-ray or CT scan and a clinical assessment, the specialist will determine if you are a candidate for this procedure.

2Is the post-operatory painful?

Under prescribed medication for the first week, the pain will be totally manageable.

3Would I be prescribed pain medication after my surgery?

Yes, you will have your prescribed medication after ending the surgery and during your recovery.

4Can I smoke after the surgery

It is recommended not to smoke for at least 3 months or reduce considerably the number of cigarettes per day.

5What kind of food will I be able to eat during the two first weeks?

A full liquid diet, smashed food, yogurts, jelly, ensure.

6What kind of sedation does your office offer?

IV Conscious Sedation. Some additional pain killers may be prescribed.

7When will I resume my daily basic routines?

Our specialist recommends ideally at least 7 days to rest.

8Does your office offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a warranty for the implants and the dentures once the patient leaves the office.

9Which payment method is available at your office?

Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, PayPal (5% commission), Venmo and Zelle.

10Is the total payment done at once?

Payments are made for every stage accordingly performed. 3 payments in 6 months.

11Do you offer financing?

MY TRIP FAQ'S

1Do I need a relative to come with me on the first trip?

We recommend our patients to come with companionship. If this is not possible our office will take care of it.

2What documentation do I need to bring with me for my first consultation?

Your ID card or Driver ́s license.

3Can you assist me with transportation and hotel reservations?

You will be picked up from San Diego Airport by our driver, or we can send an Uber to pick you up at the International border. Additionally, our staff can make reservations for you.

4Can I cross to Mexico with my ID only?

Yes, American Citizens are allowed to cross bringing only their ID. If you are a permanent resident, you will need your Green Card. 5How much cash will Customs allow me to cross to Mexico.
